RJ is a Bostonian writer uprooted and temporarily stranded in the UES. They are working towards an MFA in playwriting through the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University. They love writing about nonbinary queer people killing dinosaurs and loving each other and throwing things and baking molasses cookies. At 22, their main goal is to win the Pulitzer Prize in Drama by age 60. With lesser stakes, they would also love to go to the moon by 70. They are of the firm belief that everyone should shave their head at least once, and ramen is God’s gift to man. They are a playful, collaborative artist who is so excited to be a part of this cohort!

Q: Who are some playwrights that inspire you?
A: Shakespeare, Sarah Kane, Sally Rooney, Phoebe Bridgers, Ada Límon, Clare Barron
Q: What’s a fun fact about yourself?
A: There is nothing fun about my facts! They are all to be taken very seriously!
Q: Would you rather fight one horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses?
A: I would tame the horse-sized duck as if it was a medieval dragon. We would be best of friends!
