Roni Ragone & Bailey Jordan Garcia
Fresh Binder Productions was a dream of Bailey Jordan Garcia's and Roni Ragone's for a while. After longing for a theatrical home for emerging transgender/non-binary/genderqueer playwrights, they decided to make their own.
In January 2024, they launched "Fresh Binder Productions".
We currently focus on two different types of writers cohorts. In our Spring Cohort, we bring in 6 playwrights who would alternate bringing in and workshopping an already semi - to fully imagined full-length piece, weekly. In our Fall Cohort, we have 6 playwrights individual pieces under a collective theme, ultimatley putting together a night of one acts. For future iterations of the cohort, they will go back and forth between these two models! ​

Fresh Binder also produces staged readings, such as Roni Ragone's "Up Strung Down" in January 2024, and plans to do more in the future!
