Nay Harris (they/them) is an NTI and Advanced Playwriting alum of the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, they're a multi-hyphenate writer/artist with an affinity for gallows humor. Nay alleviates stigmas regarding mental illness/self-harm within Black communities, increases representation of Black Queer/Nonbinary love/joy, and advocates for SWer’s safety/sex work decriminalization. They're also passionate about BDSM & Kink education, dedicated to teaching/reminding the mainstream of the QTBIPOC origins/anthropologies of Kink. Nay’s a Miranda Family Fellowship & NYU Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program alum, as well as a finalist for NBT’s I Am Soul Playwriting Residency (2022). They’ve completed BRTW’s Revolution Now! 2022 development workshop, and the 2021-2022 INKubator Playwright's Group. Nay's also completed Prospect Theater’s MT Lab and ATG’s BIPOC Playlab, they’re currently a part of Musical Theatre Factory’s third Maker's Cohort. For leisure, they enjoy horror films and musicals, Eggo buttermilk waffles, body modifications, and star-gazing.

Q: What’s a fun fact about yourself?
A: I got my tongue split this summer, which was at the top of my body mod to-do list
Q: Would you rather fight one horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses?
A: One horse-sized duck, winning/losing is inconsequential, it'll be a great story to tell.
